Statistics South Africa is due to release the latest tourism accommodation figures and analysts are optimistic. Previous figures saw a 17.8% increase in the number of stay unit nights. This was attributed to the 53.4% hike in total income for the tourist accommodation industry. Tourism Business Council of SA CEO Tshifiwa Tshivhengwa weighs in.
