TRAVEL & TOURISM SERVICE EXCELLENCE
Ahead of the 2010 Soccer World Cup, TBCSA collaborated with the NDT to initiate the National Tourism Service Excellence Strategy to conduct an audit of service levels in the industry with a view to develop an approach to improve service levels in the industry. The vision of the Strategy (approved in 2011), is to build a Service Excellence Culture in the Tourism sector and value chain. Other objectives for the strategy include: (1) to develop an integrated approach to service excellence for the tourism sector; (2) to rationalise efforts and develop a strategy that will guide service excellence in the sector; and (3) to create an enabling environment in developing a positive customer service culture.
