BUSA FINALISES DOCUMENT ON ANTI-CORRUPTION / ISSUES PRESSER ON KPMG ALLEGATIONS
As has been reported in recent weekly newsletters, BUSA has been projecting its voice on matters of corruption, emphasising the importance of integrity, ethics and good governance. In the week, BUSA announced to members that it has finalised its Anti-Corruption Discussion Document. The document outlines the challenges pertaining to corruption, and also outlines guiding principles for businesses to follow. Also in the week, BUSA issued the a media statement with the objective of reinforcing the key elements of their discussion document, but also to bring a voice of reason to the consideration by many businesses as to whether break ties with implicated businesses such as KPMG.
