EDDY KHOSA APPOINTED AS A CATHSSETA BOARD MEMBER
After two years under administration, CATHSSETA has announced its new Board of Directors. Their appointment was made effective this week on 31 March and their respective terms run until 31 March 2018. Former TBCSA Board member and FEHDASA Chairman Eddy Khosa forms part of the newly appointed Board. Joining him will be individuals representing labour unions, employer groups and government. They are:

APPLICATIONS FOR DISCRETIONARY GRANTS CLOSES MONDAY 19 JUNE 2017
CATHSSETA are inviting applications for the discretionary grant funding from entities that fall within the CATHSSETA scope, of which Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Gaming and Lotteries, and Conservation form part. Please note that only applications addressing the stated scarce skills will be considered, namely Hotel Manager; Park Ranger; Travel Consultant; Tour Guide; Chef; and Reservations Manager, among other occupations. Why apply for discretionary grants?
Discretionary grants are aimed at encouraging stakeholders to contribute towards skills development. The bulk of discretional funding is directed at the provision of pivotal or learning programmes.
